Authentication on  HPE OS Comware Routers 

How to format flash:

Display layer 2 interfaces

<H3C> display interface brief

Display layer 3 interfaces

<H3C> display ip interface brief

Enable  LLDP standard protocol like (cisco CDP):

Authentication Types on VTY:

None: can be telnet without username/password

Password: can be telnet with password not username

Schema:  can be telnet with username/password

1- None:

  no username / password required when login to router by telnet with privilege 0

change privilege to 3:

2-  Set authentication password no username with encrypt password:

3- Schema (username/password) authentication local:

# Create user (Ahmed) password: comware privilege level 3 access telnet & SSH only

# allow any users access router by all (telnet – ssh)

# assign timeout:

# Display users:

# Console terminal:
